Packaging and Storage of Petroleum Resin

Petroleum resin is non‑hazardous; during transportation, it should be protected from direct sunlight and rain. It must not be transported together with self‑igniting materials, strong oxidizers, or strong acids. Petroleum resin should be stored in a well‑ventilated, cool, and dry environment. The typical shelf life is one year; after this period, it may still be used provided it passes inspection.
C9 cold‑cured petroleum resin shall be stored indoors at an ambient temperature not exceeding 35°C and a relative humidity not greater than 85%. This product may be transported by truck, ship, or rail; take precautions against fire, direct sunlight, rain, and manual handling. Packaging shall consist of 25‑kg multi‑layer composite paper bags or bulk bags with a net weight of 500 kg or 1,000 kg.
