A high‑molecular‑weight polymer produced by catalytic polymerization of the C9 fraction obtained from ethylene cracking, this product appears as light‑yellow to pale‑yellow granules, exhibiting excellent transparency and gloss. It is soluble in aromatic hydrocarbons, aliphatic hydrocarbons, esters, and ethers, and demonstrates superior water resistance and electrical insulation properties, along with chemical stability toward acids and bases. This product can serve as an accelerator or modifier in the coatings industry, as a tackifying resin in hot‑melt adhesives, pressure‑sensitive adhesives, and sealants, or as a tackifier and processing aid for modifying various rubbers and plastics. It is also suitable for use as an ink additive, in road‑marking thermoplastic paints, and in rubber compounding for tire manufacturing.
